Essays 1-01: Letters to Host Families

My name is Yuuki. I’m nineteen years old. You know? I’m sorry. I’m living in Kumamoto. My hobby is to play the drums. When I listened to music of UVERworld, I was surprised. UVERworld’s drummer was very cool, so I have really taken to this Japanese rock Band(UVERworld). Then I became to like drums. UVERworld is a group of five people. Their music is innovative. For example, it’s “REVERSI”. Please listen to it. In my house, there are my grandmother and, grandfather, my mother, and my sister. I live my family because they are so kind. When I was young, I went to Mistui Green Land. It is an amusement park in Kumamoto. 

Then I was crying and the reason why I didn’t want to go to home because I wanted to enjoy myself in there. When I did that, I was angry at my grandma. It’s my memorable story with my family, so I want to go to an amusement park while studying abroad. I dislike eating eggplant, so if you make a meal that is used eggplant, I may make a disagreeable face. I’m sorry for it, but I don’t like it. 

My favorite meal is strawberries because I like fruit, and when I eat it, I put condensed milk. It is very sweet, so I like sweets. For example, as you know, I like strawberry, and also chocolate, cake, cheesecake, and others, but I can’t make sweets. Please let’s make them together. When I’m going to go there, I want to go to famous places. Even if there are a few famous places, can we go on trips with me. I’m sure if I go with you everywhere, it is very fun. 

My hobby is playing drums and swimming. When I was five years old, I started swimming. Those days,  I don’t like swimming because the practice is hard, so I couldn’t follow that practice, but recently, I noticed that swimming was very interesting for me, so let’s swim together! I like r\to play the drum. I was part of a Rock band that named “RockrobStar”. Sometimes we get together, and we play musical instruments, so if you play a musical instrument, please play with me! I’m glad to see you! I want to talk with you so much. I’ll may be good family with you. Thank you for reading!
