BR 2-10: How Zebras Got Their Stripes

“ The sticks landed on Zebra.” ( p.22).

This story is about a greedy baboon, a pond, a giraffe, an elephant and the very first zebra. Once upon a time, there was a greedy baboon who lived by a pond. He never handed over the pond all, so everyone was thirsty. Animals challenged many times to get back the pond, but every time, the greedy baboon roared, jumped up, down and moved his arm. The very first zebra went, too. They quarreled. One day, he got lots of sticks and lit a big fire to save the pond. But, zebra was scared, and then he ran at baboon. He kicked out his legs. Baboon flew into the air with sooty sticks.The sticks landed on zebra, and baboon landed on his bottom. Ever since then, zebras have had black stripes. And baboons have had red bottoms. 

It is unbelievable story. But, I thought this story is a story about hypothesis. When I was young, I heard a story about like zebra. Zebras was white fur. One day, zebras started being aimed by other flesh-eating animals. Then they thought how to hide their body to save their lives. One zebra found branches. Then he hid the branches, and he never found from other animals, so they started to change their fur white to stripes. This is one fairy tale. All over the world, there are a lot of stories. It is good thing that you look for new story about like those zebras. As a story of fairy tale, I recommend it.

I don't know what I want to write.

Recently, I am tired, so I can’t get up early. In this morning, I got up at 10 o’clock. I don’t have a lot of friends to enjoy something, so I often fall asleep again. I fell asleep again in this morning, but after ten minute, I noticed to have to do puzzle and dragons. It becomes daily work. To put it blatantly, I am free. After I clearly got up, I had breakfast. I have no idea to write in this blog, so I thought hardly while I had the breakfast. Although I thought a lot of idea, It never continue to write them in the blog. I am full of trouble now. 

So, I will write my sense of values about future job. I am thinking that I must do the job I want to do. What do you think about this? All people who looking for the job are thinking. Why do you do the job? I want to work for dreams. It is for other people, even for my dream. There are a lot of dreams. I want to tell this feelings. In Japanese, I can tell you these feelings... So, I will study hard to tell this dream. “It all begins with dreams.”

BR 2-09: King Midas and the Gold

“ “ I wish I could touch things and turn them to gold.”” ( p.11).

King Midas was very rich and kind. One day, he met an old man who was lost his house. Midas helped the man to find his house. His son was a god, so his son gave Midas a wish. Midas said ” I love gold. I wish I could touch things and turn them to gold.” The things which he touched became gold, stick, palace even his dinner. He wanted to stop this. If he go to a secret river in the hill, it can make it stop. So, he went to there.

This story is a full account of mad for money I think. If there is no money in this world, I think this world is happy place. This story wants to tell us this thing I think. All the time, we have to earn the money for our life. Walt Disney said “ It takes a lot of money to make these dreams come true.” Definitely,  I agree with this opinion. Money is important, but we never become greedy.

BR 2-08: The Magic Pear Tree

“ The shoot grew and grew. It grew into a tree, with green leaves and golden pears.” ( p.32-33).

This story is about selfish Shen, a hungry beggar, a kind woman, some YUMMY pears and a little bit of magic. Shen lived in a little house with a big garden which was a tree that it grew sweet, golden pears. He didn’t want to share them, and he thought that he sold them at the market to earn much money. In the market, a beggar said “ Please may I have a pear?”, but he didn’t give it because the beggar didn’t have any money. A kind woman hearing the conversation wanted to give the beggar a pear, so she bought it for the beggar. After he ate it quickly, he spat out the seeds, and he said “ Now, it’s my turn to give you a pear.” Then he dug a hole and dropped in the seed. A tea-seller gave him a teapot because he wanted. Immediately, the shoot grew and grew. It grew into a tree with green leaves and golden pears. The beggar picked a pear and gave it to the woman. 

This is magic. Maybe the magic will makes everyone happy. In this story, the beggar use magic, and then he made everyone happy.  I love Disney. Disney movie often use magic in the movie. Disney Resort often use magic. For example, it is magical time, magical place and so on. It makes us happy. This story is same magic. So, I think this story is wonderful.

BR 2-07: Stone Soup

“ “I can make soup from a stone,” said the man.” ( p.6).

Once, there was a poor man. One day, he came to a cottage and knocked the cottage. An old woman opened the door, but she didn’t want to enter him in the cottage. But, he said “ I can make soup from a stone.” Then she entered because she wanted to see it. The old man added a shiny stone in a big pot of water. After added it, a lot of foods were popped them in. Finally, the old woman had the soup. “ It is yummy, that stone must be magic!!,” she said. The old man smiled, and he washed the stone and put it in his pocket. “ Stay for supper,” said the woman. “ We can have soup.”

I think this story is little bit strange. We can’t know who the old man is. And then the old man have a stone which is able to make delicious soup, but I can’t know the reason why he has a stone which become delicious soup. If this is real story, I can’t believe it because of scary. What the effect does this stone put in? The old woman popped many kind of foods in, so of course, it will become delicious. This book has a lot of doubts, but this book is interesting.

BR 2-06: The Chilly Little Penguin

“ But he was too cold to eat it.” ( p.6).

Once, there was a little penguin called Perry. He lived at the South Pole that there is always very cold with his family. One day, he found a box which is in something yummy, but he was too cold to eat it. Perry went to see his family members. He wanted to get warm. His grandpa suggested trying skating, and then his grandma suggested trying swimming. But, it didn’t get warm. So, his sister suggested trying sliding down the hill. Finally, he could get warm. Then he opened the box. An ice cream was in the box, and he could enjoy eating that.

This illustration is very cute. The penguin is just like having a real life, so I could enjoy reading this book because the illustration was really wonderful. Concerning about this story, it was little bit childish. When I read this book, I was boring because it had similar topics in the book. If children read this book, it is really fun, but if someone, who have an intelligence of the way of reading, read this book, it was maybe boring. But, it is great book. I recommend reading it.

Essay 2-02b: When you want to buy, you should buy about electronics.

My favorite place is Yamada Denki beside Nisseki Street. There is so many electronics. Those classify into several sections, those can be classified TVs, music players, games, cookware, PCs, and so on. There are other sections, but I will talk about five types in Yamada Denki. Those are some makers and names of products. I will talk part of those details.

First of all, music player has two big makers in there I think. I will tell you these two makers because these are really big, so I want to focus on these makers, but Yamada has many kinds of music player’s makers. It is Apple and Sony. Apple is selling iPod series. For example, iPod touch, iPod nano, and so on. Music player markets are almost occupied by Apple, and SONY is chasing after Apple. In the place of my favorite, half of the Music player corner is almost same, but all the time, Apple products sold out. Sometimes, Sony’s products sold out, but it is only the time when Sony sell new product. Music player markets are always changing, so I never miss to check and go there for new information about music player. On the second floor, you can see music players when you walk four or five steps. There are two lines of display. First line is Apple products. Second line is Sony products. These are arranged in order of price.

TVs are made from some makers. In Japan, AQUOS, BRAVIA, and VIERA are famous for TVs. I have a TV of AQUOS. In Yamada Denki, there is sold other makers. For example, it is smart CINEMA, REAL and so on. When I went to check new product in Yamada Denki, I was shocked because be displayed Japanese TVs decreased. Typical of that is smart CINEMA. This is Korean product. Recently, Korean TV products are becoming the rise of TV market. But, in other words, we can know about market of economic like those electronic products. It is really interesting for me, so I like this place. When you move the third floor, you can see the TV corner in the inner part of third floor. In the inner part of third floor, you can see fluoresent lights, TVs, and DVD and Blue Ray players. Then middle of them, you can see TVs. These are arranged in order of makers. There are about 50 TVs.

My mother and grandmother always said that it was good for us to use good cookware, so we had to use new products about cookware. Recently, Yamada Denki is putting a great deal of effort into cookware because a housemaker wants to buy new products. If the cookware’s sale increased, a housemaker would be happy to make dishes because the cookware made them happy to make dishes. If you go up the second floor to third floor, you can see immediately. These are arranged about 30 products.


PCs are changing everyday. Recently, Tablet PCs were spreading all over the world. We demand new product because new products are making our life convenient. Well, I want to buy new PCs. In Yamada Denki, PCs are treated. Note PC is famous for Apple, TOSHIBA, Panasonic, and NEC. Apple is the most famous for macbook. I am using it. Desktop is famous for Apple, too, but desktop PCs are well- known for Japanese company’s PC. For example, these are Windows, NEC, Panasonic, and Fujitsu. Those that include the information before I introduced are competing every day. So, we often have to check those in Yamada Denki. I have a macbook, so I often look Apple’s products.

Yamada Denki is really attractive place I have ever been. The information that I introduced are a little. Yamada Denki has so many many electronic products. When you go there, please check those things, at the same time, please find your new things in there. It will be amazing things for you. As you know, I want to go to there every day, so if you want to go, please tell me “let’s go.” I will follow you and teach you a lot of things that I can teach you. Then we can be made these electronics reduction by ourself when you said a store clerk “ It is expensive!!”

BR 2-05: Brer Rabbit and the Blackberry Bush

“Then he threw him through the air.”. ( p.16),

This is a story about Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox and a prickly blackberry bush. Everyday they battled each other. They were enemies. One day, Fox set a trap. The Rabbit was captured. The Fox wanted to eat the Rabbit. But, Brer Rabit was really clever. The Brer Rabbit said he never cared to be eaten by Brer Fox, but he didn’t want to throw in the black bush he said. The Brer Fox that he thought silly rabbit smiled and picked up, and then threw him through the air. Then the Brer Rabbit laughed and ran deeper into dark and prickly blackberry bush. The Brer Fox couldn’t get him.

I think this company’s picture books like this are a lot of stories that the character tell a lie. I think. Possibly I am choosing like telling a lie stories. But, like that stories are considered that in our life has a lot of lies. So, when I read like this book, I read more carefully. The fox is bad animal, isn’t he? I often read like bad story about fox. In Japan, the rabbit is chasing with turtle in my image. Well, I recommend reading this book.

BR 2-04: The Magic Gift

“He never spent a penny himself.” ( p.13).

Long ago, a man called Chang lived with his three sons- Yong, Chin and Ying. Chin was very old and very rich. Before he was gone, he said ” When I die, I want you to share my fortune equally. You must live together happily.” After he was gone, the fortune never share equally. Yong and Ying each took a big share of the fortune. Chin was left with a tiny bag of silver coins. But, he never used himself. He used them to help poor villagers. His brothers used themselves. One day, brothers met poorest Chin, and they didn’t want to think that he was my brother. Then they said “Leave the village right now, and you don’t come back until you’re rich.” He didn’t want to upset his brothers, so he left the village, and he arrived a forest. In the forest, he met an old monk, and then the monk said “ I’m on my way back to my temple, but I can’t get across the stream.”. So, he helped the monk. After they got across the stream, the monk gave a weak sigh. “ Could you carry me back to my temple?”, and Chin help him again. Then Chin felt sorry for him “ I will stay and help you.” Few month ago, the monk asked him “ Where is the matter?”, and Chin said ” I miss my brothers and the villagers.“ The monk said back “ Then you must return. I’ll be on my own.” The next day, Chin got ready to leave. The monk gave him three gift that are an old straw mat, a wooden spoon and a pair of chopsticks. He walked all the day in the forest, and he fell asleep on the straw mat wishing for more comfortable. When he got up, he was lying in a big bed in a beautiful room. The straw mat became the bed, and then he wished for the spoon he wanted to eat something. Fruits came pouring out of the spoon. The chopsticks made the place wonderful. When his brothers passed his castle, they heard his story. Then they gave away everything, and went to the place the monk lived, but there are no people. They waited him longest time, but he never return. So, they couldn’t endure, and they backed Chin’s castle. Chin helped them out. Then brothers lived there happily together just as their father had wanted.

This is long long story for me. All the time, I was reading short story, but this time, I challenge to read this long story. But, it is really long to read when I do homework about book review. I couldn’t understand where the most important points in this book. When I sum up, I was confused. But, this story was really fun and interesting. This character was really charming, and I could be completely absorbed reading this book. The people who made efforts become rich man about all things. I want to learn from this book. I recommend reading this book.

Do you want to go Fantastic Place?

Sometimes I have to do something to work. For example, it is a part-time job, office work, and so on. Maybe I will be having to do those things. Why do we have to work? Is it for family? For yourself? I don't want to work as possible as I can do. But, if only the concerning about fantastic places, for example, it's Mitsui Green Land and Disneyland, want to work, because I love dreaming. I want to give everyone dreams. So, I will work in like those places. 

Recently, I started to do part-time job. It is different from those fantastic place. Direx is my part-time job at Kumamoto store. It is renewal store which is near form my home, so I decided to do part-time job in there. Now, I am taking training for grand open. I'm in trouble between I don't want to do that and I have to earn money. So, I will do for my dream to be working in fantastic place.

I could decide my part-time job. But, this part-time job has a lot of crazy people in there. I have ever experienced like this part-time job, but it is completely different. First of all, the relationship of work place is so bad. The people who known each other are able to talk, but if the relationship was nothing, no one teach me. But, it is not only. I was angry because I couldn't do my work, but I have never taught them about that work. And then if I was angry, I wouldn't  be taught anyone. 

Employees are so bad guys. So, I may quite again. I'm in the car to go to training store. Driver who is employee will be fall asleep. He want to death for us, doesn't he? I have no idea!! I never want to ride his car. 

My part-time job was done. I'm on my way. We are not friend each other, so we never say anything. Sometimes someone laugh when he or she watch the TV. It is not fun, and I can't do laughing. Finally, I came home. I never want to go. But, it is for money, so I will make smile.

The greatest home is my home.

My favorite place is my home. I love my home because my home is able to relax. Sometimes, I want to go home when I am school. The school can not relax. The reason why my home is able to relax is that my home is the place which I was born. There is a lot of memories since I was born. For example, when I was five years old, I remember that I weted my bed. So, my home is filled my good memories. My home is a lot of relax place. For example, it is bed. My bed is the soft, so if you come my home, please go to bed. My home’s dining room is too. My home is really realax place, so I love this place. Before I was born, my home was different from. My home was different place. That was the farthest for me. So, I have no idea when my family talk about before place which they were living, so if they start talking about that, I will go to another olace in my home because I don’t know. But, I heard that before place was good place, too. I think this home is best, but I want to go before place. If I go that place, I never change my mind that I love this home. Sometimes, my friend and my family’s friend come to my home. It is sometimes, so when my friend come to my home, they are really welcomed.  When I was elementary school student, my friend came my home, and he stayed my home in the day. Then my family prepared my friend’s dinner. It was really biggest dinner. I had never had those dishes. Since he came my home, I was glad to come my friends, but recently, my friends don’t come home because I don’t enjoy playing with my friends. So, please come my home that I love. If you come my home, I will prepare special dishes.

BR 2-03: The Baobab Tree

“ No one has ever heard the Baobab tree say another world.” ( p.22).

A long, long, long, long, time ago, some angry gods for a talking tree made the world. One day, they made a talking tree, and they called it the Baobab tree. The tree talked a lot. It was always talking. Even it was hot day, cold day, and he was thirsty, he talked to itself. Gods was angry, and then they grew a forest, but the baobab tree was fed up. The gods made tree with flower and fruit. But, the Baobab tree never stopped talking. Then gods was really angry. Finally, they cried “Stop!!!!!”. They grabbed the Baobab tree and turned it upside down. He couldn’t open his mouth to talk.

I think this story is very sad. And then I thought gods want to give even plants their lives. But, at the same time, gods never take their lives by force. Almost country respect gods, so if gods betray us, who we should believe? I don’t know, and we don’t know. I love this tree because that is charming. All the time, he is talking. If I have a friend like this, I think it is really fun. If you want to get charm like it, I recommend to read it.

Essays 2-01b: All my language learning stories are really interesting!!!!

Recently, we have to study a lot of languages because when we work various jobs, we have some opportunities to see foreign people, so we need talking various language. I have been studying three languages. These are Japanese, English, and German. Japanese is my native language. When I bore in this country then growing up, I started talking Japanese. Japanese is the best language I think. There are a lot of words, but the word has very great mean and important mean. For example, Itadakimasu. Do you know about it? It expresses about thanks for life. 

When I was five years old, I was taught about it. I didn’t know how the Japanese words are really deep. Then I learned about Hiragana in the elementary school. 

The Hiragana is our unique culture, then we could read a lot of sentences if we have learned about it. When I moved up, I learned about Kanji. You know, almost foreign people weak these character. To put it blatantly, Japanese people can’t use completely. Because in the elementary school, we didn’t learn all character, and then in the junior high school, high school, and university don’t teach us all character of Kanji. 

I learned about grammer of Japanese when I was junior high school. I didn’t heard well about it, so I can’t understand. But, recently, I’m learning about grammer of Japanese by myself because I became like studying, so I want to grow up my studying ability, and I want to be good at about all studying. If I have  more time, I want studying a lot. Japanese grammer is really complicated, so it is so hard for me to study, but I could became Japanese master if I did.

When I was junior high school student, I started studying English first. I had thought that I have never became like it, but when I had taken a cram school, I met a teacher who reach me devotedly. He was English teacher, so I became studying English. This is my first story about studying English. Then I started studying English. First of all, I memorized English words, but these English words have a lot of means, so I couldn’t memorize them, but the teacher taught me harder, and my grades ware improving.

Then I graduated the junior high school. I entered high school. In there, I became to hate studying because the high school gave us a lot of homework, so my studying became working. When our studying became working, it would be breaking down our feeling concerning studying. But, when I was 2 grade, I met a man. He taught me the happiness of studying. From I met him, my mind is changing because he is really genius about everything.

When I took his class, I was surprised. His class can learn about speed reading, grammer, English words, and so on. This is my turning point about studying. I became to like studying again. Then I had a dream. It is to do concerning Disney. If I work in Disney, I must study English because I want to work at Disney in foreign country. Especially, I want to go to America’s Disney. IT is like the Walt Disney company, so I will continue studying English harder. I want to put learning languages story to good use.

When I entered this university, I started studying German. I have never studied, but it how to study is like almost same with studying English, because the grammer similar, so it is little easy to study, but it is almost difficult. Sometimes it confuse with English.

Studying language is really difficult, but when I study about some languages, I am really happy because it is happy to get new language skill. All I got languages are useful for me to use. I could had spread my language skill.
