Essay 1-3b: Robin Hood

Robin Hood is very famous movie all over the world, and the history is famous, too. The movie of Robin Hood has some versions. The movie that is well known about Robin Hood is appearing Russell Crowe. Have you ever watched it? And then some people know the movie of Disney. The title is Robin Hood, but the story is different because animals are casts. Robin Hood as a leading part is a fox, and the friend of fox is a bear. There are many animals appearing in this Disney movie. That is really interesting and funny. All students know about Robin Hood is maybe cool and strict, but Disney movie was that the fox had a playful place. That is good viewpoint if you want to watch it.

Robin Hood’s sense of justice is strong, so all the time, he take a risk to rob the treasure for citizens and friends. As a result, he was offered a prize by the government of Richard King. The Richard King was not original king because originally his old brother was king, but when his old brother went the Crusades, Richard became king without consulting anyone. But, his citizens and friends had never caught him. Though they had a responsibility to catch him, they protected him because they have no money. The government have imposed amount of a tax on the citizens. The heavy tax caused them a pain and troubled. So, Robin Hood wanted to help like the people. Unconditionally, to rob for citizens can’t say good thing, but he was thought us it is good because he have been helping them.

Then, This movie can compare by Disney and a documentary film. First of all, maybe Disney movie of Robin Food is made to everyone. For example, all children, old people and people who have a weak heart can watch it because this movie of Disney is easy to understand! Also, all animals are very cute, so all people can feel enjoy and interesting while they watching it. However, This Disney version’s movie is shorter than the documentary one, so it can’t tell people a lot of things than another. Also, it is lacking in reality.

On the other hand, a documentary film is very long time, so it has a enough conten, so people can understand and know about it than Disney one. Of course, it has a lot of grotesque seane because of it is the movie for adults. However, This movie can represent more reality than another one. The thril is very nice because there are a lot of battle seane. People can’t feel the thril in the Disney one. However, some children can’t watch it becaise it has many grotesque seane. These things are opposite to Disney one. These two version movie of Robin Hood are very different, so please watch both movie. Both movie are very interesting!

These movie were really thought movies. First of all, they have the viewpoint of bravery. The Disney movie is about animal’s bravery. Robin Hood had a person who he wanted to marry. Then she had thought she wanted to marry him. But, Robin Hood was wanted for murder, so I couldn’t reach for her even if he wanted to reach for. One day, the archery tournament was held by the bad king.There is a chance to meet her, so he decided to join it. So, he wanted to meet her. To meet her, he decided to go to dangerous place which was ruled the country by bad king in spite of he was wanted for murder. This is his bravery even if he runs a risk. Then it has a bravery as protecting and helping citizens. But, other Robin Hood has different bravery. Documentary version has real face. The bravery is little bit similar, but little bit different because it is same bravery for woman who is loved by Robin Hood and citizen. But, at first, he has a friend to fight with. When he was young, he was caught, and then he could escape, but he lost a lot of friends. Then he came back home country with his only friend who met when he was caught. His friend helped Robin Hood, and his friend was the heathen. When he came back home, his home was nothing anywhere. And, his father was killed, so he decided to fight for proud of his country and his father. This is his bravery, too.

Both Disney and documentary version have great bravery. In their movie, the bravery comparing is difficult, but in Disney, the bravery is easy to understand as children can understand it. Then in documentary, it is complicated because the bravery exist various place. For example, as you know, for woman, for citizen, for friends. But, there is a reason for country in documentary. So, if it is related to country, there is the war, the joy, the sorrow, the hatred, the pain, and so on. Being related to country is complicated.

Definitely, there is clearly different things in their movies. It is relationship. In Disney movie, Robin Hood has friend who is Little John, and the trust from everybody is thickly. If there is his bad point, he is a thief. He is robbing the money and goods with Little John for poor citizens. But, in the other movie, he is son of king. And then he is not thief, and he dosen’t have friends a lot. Little John was going to rob his necklace that is the keepsake from his father. All were not favorable. Robin Hood made efforts. At first, his effort was for country, but gradually, his friends increased, then he had a brother. Finally, he got many friendships and bravery. Watching these movie was noticed that there are so many different if both sense of values were different.

Seeing the movie of the same name, although a work is different can know the charm which the movie has, respectively, and it can find out the difference among both of works further. It is really interesting things.

Quick Post for the essay 1-03a: Robin Hood

Hikaru and I are going to review the film versions of Robin Hood produced by Wolfgang Reitherman (1973) and Ridley Scott (2010). We chose those two versions because we thought we waned to watch them! First of all, Disney animation is really easy to watch for us, so we wanted to understand about Robin Hood. Then we wanted to know deeply.

Essay 1-03a: Robin Hood

I didn’t know about Robin Hood. I have never watched movie and heard about it. This time, I watched the movie in Disney movie. That was cute movie, but I could learn about Robin Hood in this movie. 

First of all, Robin Hood was great man. He helps for villagers. All the time, he wants to help people, and villagers trust him. He stole the gold and treasures from the person who have a lot of their for villagers. He said “ I don’t rob. It’s not robing, it is only borrowing. “ That was very cool. I want to say same thing. 

The villagers said “ He presents a dream to us desperately.” He did all he could his best for villagers, so they might think that they were saved by Robin Hood. Because of villagers say the appreciative word for him, he helps all villagers again.

This movie can look the viewpoint of friendship. Especially, Robin Hood and Little John is great friends. They were together all the time, and they known well each other. I want to be like a them. One day, the archery tournament, Robin Hood took part in it. When he won the game, he went to the king, and then he was died for the king. Then Little John helped him at the risk of his life. 

This movie is really good. I had never watched a movie from such a viewpoint until now. The viewpoint is feelings, and humanity. Robin Hood can be impressed. I can learn from this movie.

BR 1-14: The Fox and the Stork

The Fox and the Stork

“ Fox and Stork were friends, but Fox loved playing tricks.” ( p.2-3).

Sometimes the fox played tricks for the stork. One day, he had a trick for the stork. Then the fox asked the stork to dinner. Fox poured soup into wide bowls, but the stork’s beak was long, so stork couldn’t eat a thing. The stork who got angry thought of asking the fox to dinner. And then stork poured soup into tall jars. Naturally enough, fox couldn’t eat a thing. ”Always be king to your friends, and they will be kind to you.” said stork.

This book is like a human. Almost people have a opportunities to have a trick. Sometimes people have a trick good and bad, and sometimes people are hurt by the bad trick. I thought this book writer wants to tell us that.

15. Vacation plans

I have some plan in this summer vacation. First of all, I want to go to Disney Land because Disney Land is 30th anniversary. I have never been to there, so this is very nice opportunity. I want to go!! Next, I want to go the sea. Everywhere is Ok, so I want to go the sea with my friends to swim. I like swimming, so I want to swim with my friends. And then I want to swim in the pool with my friends. The reason is same. Then I want to earn the money because I have no money, and I have no part-time job, so at first, I will find a part-time job.

14. About blogging

I don't write blog because it is homework. In writing class, we have to write blog for homework. It needs more than one hundred words. I know if we don't do that, we can't get credit, but I don't want to do that. I have never written blog. One day, in the homework of writing, we have to write blog about University Life. And then my friend said that we would write it more than ten thousand words. So, we started to write it. When I wrote it, I might become dislike English, but I did my best I thought that it is for me. Then I did ten thousand eight hundred three words. I thought that was crazy.

I will talk about I want to do. The thing that I want to do is a lot. For example, to buy something, to go somewhere, and to play the sports. Especially, I want to buy clothes, want to go Czech Republic, and to swim. Clothes are necessary for student in university because we have to change clothes every day. It is natural, but for that, we need clothes, so I want to buy clothes. Then I want to go Czech Republic because I have a dream to go there, so I want to dreams come true. In the end, I want to swim. I love swim, so I want to go swimming somewhere.

12. My trip

I will tell you about my trip. In last year's spring vacation, I went to Kyoto with my friend. In there, a lot of things we did. When we arrived there, first of all, we went to Kiyomizu temple. That was very great place I thought. But, when I was junior high school student, I have been there, so I was little bit amazing. Then we went to Arashiyama. I have never been to there, so I was looking forward to go there, but on the way to go here, we got lost and make a mistake about train, so failed. And then It started to rain.

11. About my keitai

I have a keitai. Keitai means cellphone. My cellphone is iPhone4S. Now, almost people who is customer of softbank are iPhone5. My cellphone is very great because I have never had like a smartphone. When I was elementary school student, I bought cellphone first. That was not smartphone. Only calling and mailing. That is pretty good I think because before there were no cellphone, so the technology developed. And then I bought my iPhone when I was before entered university. That was really amazing day. I really remain it. All the time, I'm using it. The function of iPhone is very great because all I need is into iPhone.

10. Using the computer

My computer is mac book pro. This computer is very difficult to use because I have been using another computer like a Fujitsu. Software of Fujitsu is Microsoft. I have been using Microsoft. When I was junior high school student, my mother came to home after she bought a new computer. I was very surprised and exciting that time. I remember. I was not good for using it, but the computer was really fresh for me. I enjoyed forgetting time. Then I became well to use more and more. When I was high school student about three, I could use almost function.

9. My favorite movie

I have a favorite movie. This movie is greatest movie in Japan I think. It is " Brave Story". I watched this movie in high school student first. This story of this movie is that a boy helps his mother. His name is Wataru. One day, his mother and father had a quarrel, and his father went out. The next day, his mother collapsed in sick. He wanted to help his mother. On the day, he found a door that is another space. There were a key to help his mother, so he started the adventure to help his mother. When I watched it, I had a awesome impression. Then I watched it more ten times. This movie give me brave and hope.

8. Foreign Country

I have plans to go foreign countries. First of all, it is sightseeing. When I was junior high school student, I read the book about the Czech Republic. Then I thought I wanted to go there because there were some beautiful places and great goods. I thought this country was very nice!! So, I will go there. And then I have a plan to go study abroad. The reason of study abroad is that I want to become well about English skill more and more. When I entered this English department, I was thinking about it. If I will go study abroad, I want to go England because I am thinking English originated in England. After that, I want to go study abroad in America.

Writing class

Before the last year’s writing class, my writing teacher was very funny man, but this year’s teacher is very funny man too. So, this writing class is very funny class. I learned a lot of things in this class. 

First of all, I learned how to write a lot of essays. Before I didn’t write essays on a lot of words, but in this term, I became to be able to write more. That’s my very important thing because if I can’t write a lot, I can’t get credit. 

Then I could get a lot of ideas in writing blog. Every writing essay, I have to think a lot of ideas, so I could look back my life and confirm about important of this university. I really thought entering this university is good for me. 

In the end, my teacher of writing class is very funny and interesting, so every class is very interesting for me. Every homework is very hard, for example, I don’t know we must make essay prep, we must write a lot of book reviews, and I forgot to do typing homework. But, I could learn many things. I wrote essay of university life taking so much time, and I would save the deadline of homework. When I wrote the homework of university life ver. 2 about 1200 words, I thought I would die after I wrote it. That was really good memory. Next term, I will do my best more than this term. Thank you for teaching writing class, and please take care of next term.

BR 1-13: The Ant and the Grasshopper

The Ant and the Grasshopper

“ Grasshopper sings in the sun. Ant works.” ( p.2-4).

In this summer, the ant works for this winter because if he don’t gather foods for winter, he may die in winter. The grasshopper sings the song when the ant gathers foods for winter. The ant persuaded the grasshopper that you would be hungry in winter when winter came. Then winter comes. Ant is happy because he had gathered foods in summer, but the grasshopper is cold and very hungry because he didn’t it. The ant looked the grasshopper said “ Come on.” The grasshopper changed his mind. “ Next summer I will work too.”

I really like this book because this book is very funny and it gives me very kind feelings. If the children read this book, the children’s emotion will be rich. I became rich emotion. And then this book will be noticed how important gathering foods for winter. It can say for human because if the human loaf on the job, it become like a this end. So, we should be careful. And look back this book if you can’t find yourself answer. I recommend it!!!!

BR 1-12: The Genie in the Bottle

" This story is about a fisherman, a bottle and a BIG bad genie."

( p.1-2).

Once upon a time, a fisherman went fishing and threw his nets again and again. Almost time, he catches strange stuff. For example, it’s slimy seaweed, shiny shells, a smelly sock, and so on. One day, he caught something heavy. He thought it was a fish, but it was an old bottle. This bottle’s inside was empty, so he threw it away. Suddenly, in this bottle, smoke poured out, and the smoke turned into a huge face. That was a genie. The genie was very hungry, and the genie tried to eat the fisherman. He didn’t want to eat for the genie, so he thought fast. Then he could get him back in the bottle. 

I think this book is little bit lacking interest, so before you read it, I recommend to watch “ Aladdin”. When I was young, I watched it, so saying the genie is Aladdin’s Genie. The impression is strong for me. So, I imaged the genie when I read it. Somehow, I think the fisherman who is in this book looks like the Aladdin. He was wearing a cap like an Aladdin’s cap. If you read such a point of view, it is very interesting. So, I recommend it!!!

BR 1-11: Clever Rabbit and the Lion

“ Once upon a time, in a great big jungle lived a great big lion.” ( p.2-3).

The lion that had great big paws and very sharp claws roared other jungle animals. “ I’m king of the jungle, I’m going to eat you all up.” Jungle animals they don’t want to eat thought how to avoid that they were eaten by the lion. A clever rabbit had a plan to avoid the lion. The next day, the clever rabbit took the lion to the lake. And the time, the jungle animals were hiding from the lion and the clever rabbit lie that there is a lion stronger than the lion. Then the lion looked the surface of the water. Into the water, there is other lion....

This book is really fun and interesting. When I read the book, I remembered friend who did same thing in this book. He was really clever man, and when we were elementary school students, there was a man who bullied the weak. One day, my friend found the scene someone who was bullied. And then he did same thing in this book, and the man who bully the weak was never doing like that. So, I think this boom is really good story. I recommend it!!!!!
